If you know anything about popular movies in the country right now, you are likely aware of the release latest installment of the Transformers series recently. There has been one other movie released before it, preceded even farther back by a slew of cartoons and comic book appearances. There are many who don’t know these robots as well as they would like to. Much like Optimus Prime and the Autobots, Megatron is a very powerful and respected leader. Through the course of many comics and episodes, it became evident that Megatron was the most effective and feared leader that the Decepticons ever had. He ruled by fear tactics and through violent outbursts. He was a brutal force in the war on Cybertron as well.

The Decepticons are from Cybertron, a planet that also saw the creation and evolution of the Autobots. Basically this is a classic good vs. Evil story. The Autobots fought the Decepticons because they refused to reason in any other fashion. Their war spans the whole length of the comics, series, and is now beginning to be retold in part through the movies. Megatron battles for control of the Allspark, or The Matrix as it was known through the comics and television series.

The arch enemy of Megatron is Optimus Prime, who is the leader of the Autobots. Optimus Prime and Megatron began fueding when Megatron betrayed those on Cybertron. This split the planet in two essentially, making every robot choose a side. You were either with Megatron or against him, simply put.

Megatron went to Earth to pillage its natural resources with the help of the other Decepticons after Cybertron was in shambles. He was pursued there by Optimus Prime and his loyal Autobots to thwart this process. That is how the battle moved to Earth in the first place. Cybertron was emptied out of all of its resources and life trying to sustain a war for years, and its revival was directly related to Earth’s destruction. So Megatron set off to pillage our world, and Optimus Prime set out to stop him.

I can simply trust that you see who Megatron is. A great deal comparable to any Transformer, there’s more than meets the eye. We have seen glances of pity and allegiance, simply for the most part it’s cruel leading from dread and bullying.

While I’m not such a big fan of the way my iPhone handles calls, I have to say that the games make the phone worth owning. There are some incredible games that go way above and beyond anything I’ve ever seen on a cell phone.

The games continue to improve, as updates and new versions are constantly released. Some of them are incredibly addicting. I’ve never paid money for an iPhone app, so the ones that I mention here are all free games that you’ll have no problem downloading and enjoying if you have the phone. If you’ve never played Paper Toss, I would recommend downloading it. It’s a free game, so you have nothing to lose by trying it out. All you have to do is take a crumpled piece of paper and throw it into a garbage across the room.

The best part about this game is the enemy that stands in your way. The enemy here is an office fan that blows your paper in different directions. Since you can see its speed in advance, it becomes a challenge to accurately get the throw right.

The next game that I’ve fallen in love with is Cameraman, made by ESPN. You’ve probably enjoyed a similar concept before, but this is the type of game that puts you on a timer and requires you to find a bunch of differences between two very similar pictures.

All of the questions are sports-themed, and they’re really challenging too. I would definitely look into this one if it sounds like it may appeal to you.

If you like word games, you definitely need to get Scramble, which is also a free game. It’s just like Boggle, except you’ll be able to play against a ton of people at the same time, all of them having the same board as you. It’s a lot of fun to see where you end up ranking when all is said and done.

The Indiana Pacers had a very mediocre season in 08′-09′ season finishing 36-46. The bright spot for the Pacers was their home record, 25 -26. The Pacers were terrible on the road, 11-30.

The bright side to their season was that they didn’t have trouble scoring; they averaged 105 points per game, 5th in the NBA. They still managed to go less than .500 on the season, thanks to their defensive qualities.

The Pacers defense was one of the worst in the NBA giving up more then 106 points per game for 26th in the NBA.

Granger was a one man show in Indiana, single handedly responsible for many of the team’s 36 wins. His 25.8 points per game were the fifth highest in the NBA, and he was one of the only players in the league to average over one block and one steal per game.

The Central division should be an improvement overall – the Chicago Bulls are potentially a high 40 win team, the Cleveland Cavs acquired Shaquille O’Neal and will be the front runners.

Granger’s 87.8 free throw percentage was also among the best in the NBA. Had the Pacers been a winning team last season, Granger would have received far more credit. Still, his game should continue to improve, and it’s only a matter of time before Danny Granger becomes a household name.

Unfortunately for Pacer fans, he can’t do it all on his own. He’s a great player to build the team around, but they need some serious help defensively. This team can score points, but there’s no way to go deep with a weak defense.

The Pacers should win more then 36 games this upcoming season. The Pacers have a chance at the 8th or 7th seed even if everyone plays up to their potential and the defense improves. Granger should have an all-star season and be among the leaders in scoring once again.
