These core principles have been endorsed by major international business associations and leading international human rights organizations alike. As a follow-up, chief executives from around the world have issued a call to action to renew their commitment to the protection of human rights in the spirit of the Universal Declaration. Organized by the United Nations Global Compact and already signed by nearly 250 business leaders from 68 countries, the CEO Statement is an expression of serious intent.
More than ever before, business leaders around the world seem to agree that the protection of human rights, beyond its moral and ethical compulsion, also make good business sense. Ensuring decent and safe workplace conditions, promoting non-discrimination and equitable justice and fair play in employment, respecting and safeguarding the rights of employees have all become central issues to the long-term sustainability of business.
At the same time, a lot more still needs to be done to make managements understand their basic responsibility to respect human rights and the steps companies need to take to ensure that they are living up to the laid down codes. Even the most committed managers say they need more practical and authoritative guidance on what human rights mean and how these issues can best achieved in their day-to-day operations.  Many companies are yet to provide basic services such as education, healthcare or safe drinking water and sanitation.
There is growing concern that if a number of workplace issues are not successfully protected against, it can impact the human rights of employees. Human Rights policies in many companies are at an infantile stage of development. Larger organizations may have Human Rights policy to ensure they are not supporting work that impacts the human rights of others.
Many of the principles of the Human Rights Act are designed to protect the worker within the workplace. For example, the workers have the right to a private and family life. iPhone Gaming : My Game Engine of Choice

I used to own many game consoles as I was young. The game boy, the nintendo, and you can go old as you can go, I have it.But when I grew older, I slowly realized that gaming with all those big cartridges may not suit me, so it kept the gamers gaming spirit suppressed inside.

Then born was the PSP’s, the Nintendo DS, and other portable gaming consoles that went popular with all those cool graphics and great games of every genre. From racing to RPG, to more casual games when you just want to “kill time” while waiting in line or something like that.

It sure made some high hopes for me, because I can bring my gaming experience anywhere and do it when I choose, but there is another tiny dilemma, working in the corporate world, don’t you think its a turn off seeing a grown man working with a PSP in hand? Well, in my opinion at least, I was not comfortable with the thought.

I wanted something discreet, yet it could deliver the gaming experience I always wanted, the great graphics, the gameplay, and the gamer inside of me could be unleashed.

The iPhone, ah, the sheer genius of Macintosh, isn’t it? A great company creating a hip phone with all the cool graphics and interface built in a pocket size mobile phone.

The news broke out that iPhone was made, and there was a “sub-world” if I may call it, iPhone gaming. Because of the great hardware Mac created with the iPhone, applications did not only came in calculators or the default games like Snake, but it created a whole new opportunity to enjoy gaming even in a mobile phone such as the iPhone.

Discreet, great graphics and really cool game choices. Ah, yes, the iPhone has become my gaming engine of choice. With also cheap but cool games, I can enjoy a variety of game genres of my liking.

With all the ’seven-geese-a-laying’, ‘nine-ladies-dancing’, and all the ‘million gamers gaming’, iPhone is the gaming engine of choice for me.

Practical, because of the cheap games but are really cool, compared to the higher cost of other gaming consoles. And with the economy today, I can save money while enjoying great gameplay and cool graphics
Did I mentioned discreet? I can use it as a phone by day, and transform if into a gaming engine by night, or, uhh, err, my spare time.
With all the new games and latest release dates I hear about, I can keep up with all the latest action for me with the iPhone.

I thought I could never enjoy portable gaming anymore like I once used to, but after work, when stressed, or bored, I can just simple get my iPhone and just go into a world where I can relax and have fun and never have to worry about high cost of games, just what game to play next.

And with the independent software producers on the rise, or “fresh blood” as I like to call them, there will be more unique games to come, I’m sure.

The word music comes from the Greek mousikê (tekhnê) by way of the Latin created it in “measure, number and weight”. The languages of many cultures do not include a word for or that would be translated as music. Inuit and most North American Indian languages do not have a general term for music. Among the Aztecs, the ancient Mexican theory of rhetorics, poetry, dance, and instrumental music, used the Nahuatl term In xochitl-in kwikatl to refer a complex mix of music and other poetic verbal and non-verbal elements, and reserve the word Kwikakayotl (or cuicacayotl) only for the sung expressions (Leon-Portilla 2007, 11). In Africa there is no term for music in Tiv, Yoruba, Igbo, Efik, Birom, Hausa, Idoma, Eggon or Jarawa. Many other languages have terms which only partly cover what Europeans mean by the term music (Schafer). The Mapuche of Argentina do not have a word for music, but they do have words for instrumental versus improvised forms (kantun), European and non-Mapuche music (kantun winka), ceremonial songs (öl), and tayil (Robertson 1976, 39).

Some languages in West Africa have no term for music but the speakers do have the concept (Nettl 1989,[citation needed]). Musiqi is the Persian word for the science and art of music, muzik being the sound and performance of music (Sakata 1983,[citation needed]), though some things European influenced listeners would include, such as Quran chanting, are excluded. Actually, there are varying degrees of “musicness”; Quran chanting and Adhan is not considered music, but classical improvised song, classical instrumental metric composition, and popular dance music are.
